Newly Listed Townhomes

Townhomes Just Listed for Sale Across Greater Victoria

This page shows the 40 newest townhome listings in Greater Victoria, with the most recently listed at the top. At the pace of late October 2026, that covers roughly the past eight or nine days.

In the last week of October 2026, 33 townhomes were listed: 7 in Langford, 5 in Colwood, 4 each in Victoria, Saanich and Sidney and 3 in View Royal, with the rest elsewhere in the region. The median asking price was about $825,000, sitting between the typical condo and the typical house, which is exactly why townhomes appeal to so many young families and downsizers.

01

About 33 a Week

Late October 2026 brought about 33 newly listed townhomes a week.

02

Westshore Heavy

Langford and Colwood list the most, nearly all in complexes built in the last decade.

03

Strata Rules Apply

Most townhomes are stratas, so fees, bylaws and reserves matter.

04

Warranty on New

Newly built townhomes carry BC's 2-5-10 home warranty.

Conventional or Bare Land Strata?

Most Greater Victoria townhomes are strata properties, but not all stratas work the same way. In a conventional strata, the buildings' exteriors, roofs and grounds are usually common property, so the strata corporation maintains them and funds the work through fees and the contingency reserve fund. In a bare land strata, owners often own and maintain their own buildings, and the strata looks after roads, landscaping and shared amenities. The difference affects your fees, your repair bills and what you can change, so check the strata plan and bylaws early.

Documents to Ask for Right Away

As with a condo, ask for the Form B Information Certificate, two years of minutes, the depreciation report, the budget, the bylaws and the insurance summary. In older complexes, look for roof, siding, window and deck replacements in the depreciation report and minutes, since these are among the largest costs a townhome strata faces. Stratas with five or more lots must now get a depreciation report every five years and can no longer waive it. Our strata buying guide applies to townhomes too.

New and Recent Townhomes

Most townhomes listed on the Westshore are recent. Of the 25 newest Langford and Colwood townhome listings in late October 2026, every one was built in 2015 or later, and most since 2022, in neighbourhoods such as Royal Bay, Westhills, Happy Valley and Langford Lake. A home that is still within the BC home warranty period is covered for two years on materials and labour, five years on the building envelope and ten years on the structure, and the coverage passes to the next owner. Ask for the warranty details when you view. See the new townhomes page for newly built homes, and our presale and warranty guide.

Families, Downsizers and Rules

Townhomes appeal to families who want three bedrooms and a yard without the price of a house, and to downsizers who want ground-level living with less upkeep. Check the rules that matter to you: since November 24, 2022, BC stratas cannot ban long-term rentals, and the only age restriction they can set is 55 and over, so some complexes are reserved for older owners. Pet limits, parking, storage and whether you can fence a yard all vary by bylaw. If you want a 55-plus community, see age-restricted townhomes.

Just Listed Townhomes by Area

Langford and Colwood list the most townhomes, many in newer family complexes. Saanich has a mix of 1970s and 1980s complexes and new infill projects, while the City of Victoria and Oak Bay list fewer, often in small complexes close to the core. Sidney and Central Saanich offer townhomes popular with downsizers. Browse townhomes in Langford, Colwood, Saanich, Oak Bay and Sidney, or see all Greater Victoria townhomes.
